What do we do?

  Since the origin of D3 Studio in 2010, we have strived to design and create environments that provide comfort and refuge, and buildings that bioclimatically suit each site and the surroundings.  The results of these endeavors are creative, intuitive design solutions, achieving the client's needs and desires for their home or dwelling project. Our background with Sustainability, eco-friendly products and green building methods are at the forefront of every home, cabin, studio or dwelling that we are provided with the opportunity to create.

Principle, Designer 
 
  While growing up in Southern Ontario, Sean studied Architectural Technology at Mohawk College of Business & Technology in Hamilton, Ontario.  Throughout college, Sean worked in the Building and Construction industry for Contractors and Design Centers, sharpening his skills and building knowledge within the field. He has resided in Victoria, BC since January 2007. He was a member of the Vic West Land- Use committee since October 2015, and he was the chairperson of the committee from 2017-2021.   
 
  Today, Sean practices as an Architectural Designer & Technologist, working on a variety of different building types and scales, specializing in Residential and Single-family housing projects. Through community endeavors, Sean stays well informed in the local building industry and Green building standards. He has been involved with the Green building community, such as local branches of The Cascadia Collaborative and the Emerging Green Builders, since 2010.  
 
  Sean is passionate about Architecture and the building industry. Nature and the environment are of the utmost inspiration and a driving force for his work. He is in his element with a pen and paper, creating design solutions. His mind creates spaces and environments personalized for each client, and their project. Amongst personal time, Sean can be found hiking and exploring the wild nature of Vancouver Islands forests and mountains, participating in various sports and working on creative art and woodworking projects.
