A revamp was desired for a new Spec-Home, being constructed along
the Northshore of Lake Cowichan.  The original concept for the two-
level home, embedded into the slope of the hill, was of an upper level comprising a small portion of the building footprint below with a very
large and expansive roof deck. The new homeowners have asked to
expand the upper level, reducing the deck space while creating an Open
-concept Great Room, Dining and Kitchen area.  The upper level will
also contain two Bedrooms, a full Bath and a Powder Room. The new
Open living space will step out onto a large deck, setup for entertaining
​ and taking in the views over the Lake to the South.
